HEAD COACHES
As the Head Coach you would be the main person responsible for running the practices and games. You can ask for assistance from the other parents of your team for help if needed. You would communicate practice cancelations due to work schedule, illness or other issue for your team in case your assistants aren't able to help. You are also responsible for the behavior of your players, assistants, parents and yourself while coaching.
ASSISTANT COACHES
As the Assistant Coach you would be help the Head coach with managing the players, helping run drills and taking over in case the Head coach isn't able to be present at a practice or game. You can ask for assistance from the other parents of your team for help if needed. You are also responsible for the behavior of your players, assistants, parents and yourself in the absence of the Head coach, while coaching.
Some reminders:
· The club is pay to play. All players must get at least 50% of the game time on the field regardless of skill or attendance.
· Coaches are responsible for the behavior of their players and parents.
· Referees make the calls on the field and the Coaches, Players and Parents are not to argue with them. They will stop the game if conduct is unacceptable.
· If an incident arises with a player or parent, the Referee will address the issue with the coach and they must speak with parent/player about stopping the behavior.
· If there's an issue with the Coach, the Referee has the right to speak with the Coach and issue Yellow (Warning) and Red (Ejection) cards if situations continue.
· Referees are not professionals, they're kids and are learning as they grow. They may make calls that aren't agreed with.
· Head Coaches will receive money from the club to pay the referees for their (4) Home games.
· Please report any concerns regarding a parent, player, coach or referee to the club via email with date, time, division, team and parties involved. Appropriate action will be determined at the discretion of the board.
